We are currently partnering with a Housing Association in East London, who are recruiting for a Property Surveyor to join their team on a six month temporary basis.

This is a full-time position with a rate of pay between £300 - £350 per day umbrella (subject to experience) and the start date is subject to notice.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

• Dealing with reactive maintenance inspections on a patch of 3,000 Social Housing properties across East London
• Drafting specifications utilising Schedule of Rates and identifying works required
• Carrying out pre and post property inspections to cross reference works carried out to specifications and appropriate Health & Safety and Building Regulations
• Undertake stock condition surveyors (typically but not solely whilst properties are void) and input results in to the appropriate database
• Liaising with external contractors and operatives to monitor performance

Experience required:

• Experience required in Social Housing
• Experience working within reactive maintenance

Skills, knowledge and expertise required:

• Reactive maintenance expertise
• Competant of IT and data input
• Communciation and Customer Service skills
• Liasing with external and internal stakeholders
