Job description

Our client, based in Croydon, is currently recruiting for a Property Services Officer (Repairs) on a 3-month temporary contract.

The position is due to start immediately on a full-time basis. The hourly rate is up to £20 per hour via umbrella.

The ideal candidate will be customer focused candidate with a proven track record and a minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar repairs and maintenance role

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

  • To provide strong administrative support and customer service within the Property Services team, ensuring the effective scheduling and management of repairs and maintenance for housing stock.

  • Scheduling work as per priority and workstream efficiently and in a timely manne

  • CRM cases and calls monitored and responded to within promised time scales to residents

  • Provide strong administrative support to the Property Services Team such as utilising IT software for data management, data entry, filing, assisting with the management of central shared drive for electronic document storage and minute taking

  • Assisting in the maintenance and updating of the stock condition database (predominantly data inputting)

Experience required:

  • Experience of working in a similar environment

  • Experience in delivering high quality administrative support to a team

  • Experience of property services related procedures

Skills, knowledge and expertise required:

  • Good organisation skills; able to plan, organise and manage own workload

  • Excellent communication skills: able to write clear and concise letters, keep records and carry out all related administration tasks

  • Flexibility in meeting conflicting work priorities

  • Ability to work under pressure and within changing priorities
