Job description
Our client, based in Manchester, is currently recruiting for a Planned Works Project Manager on permanent basis.
The position is due to start immediately on a full-time basis. The salary for the role is £40,000 - £44,000 dependent on experience, plus an essential use car allowance of £1,300. This is a hybrid role, with an office/ site expectation of 1 – 2 days a week, with the remainder from home.
The ideal candidate will have experience working on planned maintenance projects within a social housing capacity, ideally with a focus on kitchens, bathrooms and EWI.
Duties will include (but are not limited to):
Delivering planned maintenance projects across a stock of social housing properties, including Kitchen and Bathroom upgrades, EWI and roofing replacements
Working alongside designated contractors, ensuring quality of work
Ensuring assets are maintained in line with the HA’s guidelines
Managing on site and contractor Health and Safety, including any work related to fire risk mediation
Exercising financial and commercial acumen, including risk management and financial reporting
Collating information relating to Section 20 and leasehold agreements
Experience required:
Experience in Social Housing
Experience of contractor management
Experience around planned works and associated projects
