We are currently working in partnership with a rapidly growing building regulations compliance consultancy firm, who are looking to appoint a Principal Fire Safety Consultant on a permanent contract.

This will be a full-time position with hybrid working and a salary of up to £85,000 per annum. Candidates can be based anywhere in the UK.

Our client has worked with a diverse client portfolio located across all of the UK, to ensure their construction projects are built and delivered to the highest quality.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

• Liaising and providing professional advice to clients and design teams in relation to Building Regulations Part B design fire safety matters

• Producing initial stage observations reports and mark up drawings

• Attending design team meetings to present and discuss fire safety elements

• Producing of fire strategy reports and mark up drawings

• Developing fire strategy reports in line with RIBA stages

• Formulating fee proposals

Experience required:

• Professional membership of a Chartered Body – CABE, RICS, or CIOB

• Substantial experience with fire safety assessment of commercial and residential design schemes

• An understanding of related fire safety features such as insurer requirements
