Job description
We are currently working in partnership with a Housing Association based in South Manchester, who are recruiting for two Payables and Receivables Officers to join the team (one permanent vacancy and one 12 month FTC).
The salary for this role is c.£26,250 rising to c.£27,000 after six months. Our client are able to offer a flexible hybrid working pattern with travel to the office required only a few days a week.
The ideal candidate will recent experience with a similar role.
Duties will include (but are not limited to):
Assisting the payables supervisor to ensure timely payments for each subsidiary
Logging and processing invoices and credit notes, ensuring correct VAT coding
Matching invoices to POs and preparing weekly BACS payment
Liaising with budget holders regarding outstanding payments
Assisting with maintaining the Accounts Receivable ledgers
Performing credit checks and ensuring accounts operate within credit limits
Raising sundry invoices to customers and allocating receipts to receivable invoices
Skills, knowledge and expertise required:
Understanding of accounts payable and receivable processes
