Job description
Are you a compassionate and driven individual with a passion for making a difference in the lives of individuals effected by Homelessness? We are currently on the lookout for a dedicated Male Pathway Support Worker, for one of the UKs leading Housing Associations for a 8-week period.
This is a full-time position with a hourly rate up to £16.50 via an Umbrella Company (subject to experience) and the start date is subject to your notice period.
Duties will include (but are not limited to):
Offer advice to clients for atleast 1-hour every week, in order to help them live on their own and maintain their accommodation
Attend appointments with clients when required and help clients achieve independent living
Offer welfare and benefits advice to help clients to increase their money and avoid going into arrears
Signpost clients to relevant third parties and liaise with external agencies
Create, review and maintain support plans in partnership with service users in line with policies and procedures
Regularly reviewed and discussed caseload of service users with line manager and managed caseload effectively
Attended and contributing effectively at all relevant meetings, case management meetings, supervisions, client solution spaces and reflections
Experience required:
Experience within Housing Support
Ability to improve the lives of indivudals affected by Homelessness
Creating Support Plan ands Risk Assessments
Managed and been responsible for a caseload of clients
Skills, knowledge and expertise required:
Expert knowledge on safeguarding
Trauma informed response
Working with challeneging groups who have been effected by: homelessness, drug and alcohol, mental health needs
