Job description

Are you a compassionate and bubbly individual with a passion for making a difference in lives tenants in South Devon? We are currently on the lookout for a dedicated Hub Coordinator, for one of the UKs leading Housing Associations for a 6-week period.

This is a full-time position with a hourly rate up to £17 via an Umbrella Company (subject to experience) and the start date is subject to your notice period.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

  • Undertaking regular visits and calls and responding rapidly to emergencies, while building close relationships with residents and develop a deep understanding of their needs

  • Conduct risk assessments for new tenants, provide detailed information on the services we offer and oversee all aspects of property maintenance and security, whilst co-developing person-centred goal plans

  • Complete accompanied lets and sign ups in accordance with current procedure

  • Respond promptly to all emergency calls or illness until medical / emergency aid arrives and / or relative’s assistance is obtained

  • Offer guidance on money management, self-care and healthy living

  • Liaise constantly with external agencies to achieve positive outcomes and champion best practice in supporting older residents and those with special needs

  • Above all, you will be the principal link between the Housing Association and their tenants, quickly becoming a trusted friend and confidant

  • Liaise with and work with the Senior Hub Coordinator to address tenancy issue

Experience required:

  • Experience within Sheltered Housing

  • Tenancy sign-ups and tenancy breaches

  • Ability to improve the services and the lives of residents in the Housing Assocation

Skills, knowledge and expertise required:

  • Tenancy rights

  • Health and Safety within a property

  • Handling of challenging behaviours, including ASB
