Job description
We are currently working in partnership with a public sector organisation in North Wales, who are looking to appoint a HR Advisor on a 12-Month FTC.
This will be a full-time position, paying £36,500, with the possibility to rise to £38,750 post probation.
Duties will include (but are not limited to):
Providing expert advice to managers and employees on HR matters
Coaching and mentoring managers to strengthen leadership and people management skills
Building and maintaining strong relationships between employees, managers, and trade unions
Developing, updating, and reviewing HR policies to reflect current legislation
Coaching managers to improve their knowledge of how to handle employee relations issues
Collaborating with senior teams to introduce effective change management strategies
Supporting managers in hiring processes, including job advertising, selection methods, and contract options
Skills, knowledge and expertise required:
Good multi-tasking and organisational skills
Experience of leading and advising on complex employee relations matters, including disciplinary, grievance, absence and performance management processes
Experience of identifying learning and development needs
Self-motivated with the ability to prioritise, organise and manage own workload independently to meet deadlines
Clear written communication skills
Working hours:
Full-time hours
Monday – Friday, fully onsite to start with the option of 1-day WFH as the contract goes on
