Job description

We are currently engaged in a collaborative partnership with a leading mental health non-profit charity in Bristol. In pursuit of excellence, we are actively seeking a permanent position as a Supported Housing Officer. This will be a full-time position based in Bristol.

Salary of £26,000 per annum and comprehensive in-house induction training programme and ongoing vocational workshops.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience of effectively supporting the housing services on a day-to-day basis and provide clients with intensive support.

Duties will include:

·         Reviewing the documents and assigning the accommodation to tenants

·         Ensuring transition of new tenancy, departures and evictions

·         Conducting regular inspections to maintain Health and Safety standards

·         Clearing the maintenance problems asap by addressing the issues to maintenance team

·         Collaborating with clients to address anti-social behaviour related issues and raise incident reports

·         Assisting clients in finding suitable accommodation to meet the needs

·         Communicating with stakeholders, clients, government bodies via email and phone

·         Organising monthly fire drills and risk assessments and update the documentation process

·         Performing property inspections to access the living conditions and identify the areas of improvements
