We are currently working in partnership with an award-winning construction consultancy firm opening a new office in Birmingham, who are looking to appoint a Head of Fire & Fire Consultant on permanent contracts.

These will be full-time positions based in Birmingham, with hybrid working and a flexible salary dependent on candidate’s experience for the roles.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of Level 4 fire qualification and be accredited on the National Register of Fire Safety.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

• Establishing a new fire consultancy team in the new Birmingham branch, covering projects in the Midlands, maintaining a high performing service and providing direction and support to Departmental Heads and Principal Consultants/Engineers
• Supporting sustainable Service growth, statutory compliance and governance, client and staff retention, and development of our client base
• Determine resource requirements, ensure scheduling of workforce and reporting on optimal performance, risks and opportunities to Divisional Leadership Team
• Support development of colleagues, where appropriate, so they have the skills and motivation to undertake their roles

Experience required:

• Minimum of Level 4 fire qualifications
• Accredited on National Register of Fire Safety
• Fire related degree

Skills, knowledge and expertise required:

• Sound knowledge of Fire Consultancy services
