​We are proud to be partnering with an award-winning multi-disciplined surveying consultancy firm, who are looking to appoint a Fire Risk Assessor on a permanent contract.

This will be a full-time position based in Kent and a salary of around £50,000 to £60,000 per annum.

The ideal candidate will hold memberships with Institute of Fire Prevention Officer, Institute of Fire Safety Managers & Institution of Fire Engineers and hold a full UK driving license.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

• Conducting comprehensive Type 1 - Type 4 fire risk assessments on-site and identifying hazards and existing fire safety measures

• Compiling reports and making recommendations to the business to prevent occurrence and recurrence of incidents

• Identifying fire safety deficiencies and documenting measures that are inadequate

• Drawing up specifications for remedial works

• Reviewing fire strategies

Experience required:

• Strong knowledge of Approved Document B

• Memberships in IFPO, IFSM, IFE

• Skills, knowledge and expertise required:

• Analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail

• Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with diverse stakeholders

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
