Our client, based in Surrey, is currently recruiting for a Family Support Worker on a 3–6-month temporary contract.

The position is due to start immediately on a full-time basis. The hourly rate is negotiable based on experience for this position.

The ideal candidate will have experience working with vulnerable children, hold a enhanced DBS taken out within the last three years taken out within the last three years and also have a level 3 Health and Social care qualification.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

• Managing a caseload of 12-15 clients

• Creating support plans and amending as necessary

• Carrying out risk assessments

• Keeping detailed case notes and updating them on to the database

• Visiting families both in their homes and schools

• Referring clients to outside agencies where necessary

Experience required:

• Experience working with vulnerable young people

• Experience in health and social care

Skills, knowledge and expertise required:

• Level 3 Health and Social Care qualification

• Enhanced DBS

Working hours:

• 35 hours per week

• Monday – Friday, 9am-5pm – Some Flexibility
