Job description

Our client, based in Hertfordshire, is currently recruiting for a Complex Needs Advocate on a 3-month temporary contract.

The position is due to start immediately on a full-time basis. The hourly rate is negotiable based on experience for this position.

The ideal candidate will have experience working with clients with complex needs, hold and enhanced DBS taken out within the last three years and have a UK driver’s license and access to a vehicle

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

  • Managing a caseload of between 15-20 complex needs clients

  • Providing floating support across Hertfordshire

  • Working in partnership with other service providers

  • Ensure safeguarding policies are followed

  • Signposting clients to outside agencies where necessary

  • Carrying out risk assessments

  • Implementing support plans

Skills, knowledge and expertise required:

  • Previous experience working with young people with complex needs

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

  • Good organisational and time management skills

  • Awareness of and ability to comply with relevant health and safety legislation

  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team

Working hours:

  • 37.5 hours per week

  • Monday – Friday, 9am-5pm
