Job description

Our client, based in Bournemouth, is currently recruiting for a ASB Officer on a 3-month temporary contract.

The position is due to start immediately on a full-time basis and offering this role on a remote basis with Adhoc travel to Bournemouth. The hourly rate is negotiable based on experience for this position.

The ideal candidate will have experience managing a complex caseload, hold an enhanced DBS taken out within the last three years taken out within the last three years and also have access to their own vehicle.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

  • Supporting the senior ASB Officer with low to high level ASB cases

  • Action cases of anti-social behaviour through investigation, witness support and case management in accordance with anti-social and neighbourhood management policies and procedures

  • Proactively managing a caseload, undertaking investigations and identifying victims, witnesses and perpetrators

  • Offering witness support and preparing cases in accordance with team policies and procedures

  • Gathering and preparing witness statements, evidence and formulating cases prior to instruction of legal services

  • Build clearly documented ASB cases ensuring all actions are detailed and recorded on electronic systems, including the preparation of witness statements and evidence gathered to enable the most appropriate action to be considered.

  • To attend Court, as necessary, where legal action is taken. To give evidence, support witnesses through the court process and attend court as the instructing officer. Also, to serve court orders, injunctions and notices as required.

  • Ensure partnership working and community engagement is integral to your work, identifying community concerns and ensuring relevant agencies are actively engaging in victim focused solutions

  • Actively participate and coordinate action around place-based issues of ASB using problem solving methods to understand issues and identify tactics to impact on problems

  • Liaising and attending meetings with other business units and external agencies such as the police

  • Serving court orders, injunctions, notices and attending court when required

Working hours:

37 hours per week

Monday – Friday, 9am-5pm
