Our client, based in East London, is currently recruiting for an Assessment Hub Caseworker on a temporary contract until 30th April 2025.

The position is due to start immediately on a full-time basis. The hourly rate is negotiable based on experience for this position.

The ideal candidate must have an enhanced DBS on the update service. They will also have experience working with vulnerable adults and have worked in homelessness before.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

• Supporting to manage the day-to-day operations of the service

• Holding responsibility for case management and move-on, within a 28-day timeframe

• Handling a caseload of clients

• Addressing the day-to-day needs of clients visiting the hub

• Offering immediate off the street provision with intensive assessment and support to move on into pathway or other accommodation within 28 days

• Working in a dynamic, fast-paced, varied, and rewarding role within a supportive team

• Using CHAIN access

Experience required:

• Experience required working in homelessness

• Experience working with CHAIN access

Skills, knowledge and expertise required:

• Risk assessment

Working hours:

• 37.5 hours

• Monday to Friday, shift pattern of either 09:00-17:00 / 11:00-19:00 / 13:00-21:00 with half an hour unpaid break
