We are currently partnering with a Local Authority based in the West Midlands, who are recruiting for a Right to Buy Lawyer to join their Property law team on a 2 year minimum contract.

This is a full-time position (35 hours per week) and office attendance in Birmingham is required once per week.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

• Managing a team of 6 Right to Buy Paralegals
• Dealing with both leasehold & Freehold Right to Buy sales
• Resolving any leasehold enquiries
• Dealing with unregistered land issues
• Update client on right to buy transactions, lease extensions & freehold sales
• Dealing with the removal of the Council's restrictions and RTB discount charges
• Handling any post-completion matters

Requirements

• Experience within residential property law
• Law degree (desirable)
