Job description
We are currently partnering with a Greater Manchester based Housing Association, who are recruiting for Three Multi-Trade Operatives to join their growing team on a temporary to permanent basis.
Our client is proud to provide affordable housing throughout Manchester, and are looking to expand their repairs service to offer further assistance to tenants.
This is a temporary to permanent position paying £21 per hour on a CIS basis, with a permanent salary of circa £33,000 per annum, plus a company van and fuel card. The start date is subject to notice.
Duties will include (but are not limited to):
- Completing reactive joinery work within domestic Social Housing properties
- Undertaking associated plumbing tasks, such as sink replacements in order to complete the joinery work
- Carrying out minor plastering work, such as patch plastering
- Liaising with tenants regarding ongoing works
- Completing ad-hoc tiling when required
Experience required:
- Experience required in Social Housing
- Experience working with customers within housing
Skills, knowledge and expertise required:
- An NVQ in a relevant trade
- Full UK Driving Licence

Working hours:
- 38 hours per week
- Working hours alternate on a week to week basis:
- 8am – 4:15pm Monday – Friday with a day off during the week
- Following week: 10:45am – 7pm Monday – Friday and 8am – 4:15pm Saturday
