Job description

Our client, based in East Lancashire, is currently recruiting for a Housing Officer on a 3-month temporary contract.

The position is due to start immediately on a full-time basis. The hourly rate is negotiable based on experience for this position.

The ideal candidate will have experience working withing ASB and be comfortable with working with all types of scenarios. The role will involve 1-2 days working from home and interviews are happening within the next few days

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

  • Completing tenancy sign-ups and onboarding of new tenants
  • Monitoring and reporting on ASB complaints
  • Carrying out successions with properties
  • Taking down witness statements
  • Completing estate walkabouts and checking in on tenants
  • Liaising with external agencies such as the police with ASB complaints
  • Reporting repairs to operatives
  • Experience required:

    Strong background as either a Housing Officer or ASB Officer

    Able to confidently serve notice to tenants

    Skills, knowledge and expertise required:

    Working hours:

    36.25 hours per week

    Monday – Friday, 9am-5pm
